TROY, Ala. (AP) _ Jimmy McClain returned two interceptions for touchdowns and Troy State overcame five turnovers on the way to a come-from-behind 41-24 victory over South Florida Saturday night.

The Trojans (3-0) trailed 21-14 at halftime, but rallied in the second half. Defensive lineman Al Lucas scored on a 3-yard run that put Troy State ahead for good, 27-21, and the Bulls (2-2) could not catch up.

Mareno Philyaw converted a Brock Nutter pass into an 80-yard touchdown with 13:01 remaining, and McClain scored the final points of the game on a 43-yard interception return with 1:01 remaining.

Two of South Florida's three touchdowns came as a result of TSU turnovers. The Bulls scored first on a 10-yard touchdown run, then again seven minutes later for a 14-0 lead with 5:10 left in the first.
