HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) _ Tony Bellamy had two touchdowns and passed for 110 yards to lead Alabama A&M to a 27-3 victory over Prairie View Saturday.

Bellamy's first touchdown for the Bulldogs (3-1, 1-0 Southwestern Athletic Conference) came on a 1-yard run in the second quarter to make the score 14-3. Chris Dailey of Prairie View (1-3, 0-2) kicked a 32-yard field goal early in the second quarter for the team's only score.

Melvin Gideon put the Bulldogs on the board first with a TD on a 18-yard run in the first quarter.

Bellamy completed 12-of-23 passes for 110 yards and rushed for 71 yards. His second touchdown came on a 17-yard run in the third quarter. The rush afterwards failed.

The Bulldogs held Prairie View to 52 yards rushing. Their final score came from a 79-yard run from Marc Turner with 1:52 left in the game.
