EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) _ Roy Johnson passed for one touchdown and ran for one Saturday to lead undefeated Hampton to a 27-7 victory over Grambling in the 24th annual Urban League Classic.

The Pirates (4-0) won their fifth straight Classic title.

The Pirates scored in their second possession, driving 80 yards in eight plays for a 7-0 lead. Roy Johnson passed 17 yards to Michael Jones and Karima Mayer added runs of 14 and 26 yards before Johnson fired a 6-yard touchdown pass to tight end Adrian Wideman.

Hampton made it 14-0 in the second period, driving 76 yards in 12 plays. Johnson fired a 27-yard pass to Mayer, and Jones ran for 14 yards in the drive. Johnson's 1-yard rollout on fourth-and-1 at the 3 set up the TD in the next play.

Johnson, selected the game's offensive MVP, led the Pirates 84 yards in 12 plays in the third period for a 21-0 lead.

Grambling (2-2) scored one minute into the fourth quarter on Lionel Hayes' 21-yard pass to Scotty Anderson.

Montrell Coley sprinted a school-record 98 yards for a TD 5 1/2 minutes later to complete the scoring.
