ATHENS, Ohio (AP) _ Jamel Patterson rushed for 180 yards and two touchdowns as Ohio rolled up 393 yards on the ground to beat Buffalo 45-6 Saturday night.

Patterson's first score, an 11-yard run in the second quarter, broke a 6-6 tie. Patterson scored again in the fourth quarter on a 2-yard run.

Quarterback Dontrell Jackson ran for 48 yards on 10 carries, including a 17-yard run for a touchdown in the second quarter, and was 5-of-10 passing for 97 yards.

Keith Brooks scored on a 1-yard run for the Bobcats (1-3, 1-0 Mid-American Conference) in the fourth quarter for the Bobcats.

Buffalo (0-3, 0-2) could manage only two field goals by Scott Keller, a 34-yarder in the first quarter and a 37-yarder in the second.

Bulls quarterback Joe Freedy was 17-of-30 for 220 yards, but had three intercepted, one of which was returned 16 yards for a touchdown by Duffer Duffy in the fourth quarter.

Bam McDonald rushed for 81 yards on 22 carries and Drew Haddad had eight catches for 140 yards for Buffalo.
