NEWARK, Del. (AP) _ Matt Nagy threw a 46-yard pass to open the scoring for Delaware as the Blue Hens beat West Chester 29-10 in a non-conference game Saturday. Three Delaware (3-0) players ran for 74 yards or more and the Blue Hens defense held the Rams (0-2) to 212 total yards and picked off three passes. Delaware took a 14-3 lead into halftime. The scoring came on a 46-yard pass play from Nagy to Brett Veach and a 34-yard return on a blocked punt by Mike Watkins with 3:21 left in the first half. The Rams cut the lead to 14-10 with 12:33 left in the third quarter when Mike Mitros connected with Adrian Wilkerson on a 14-yard scoring pass. But the Blue Hens held West Chester in check the rest of the day, pulling away on a 37-yard field goal by Garon Sizemore and two short scoring runs by Craig Cummings and fullback Steve Ricco. Ricco rushed for 81 yards while fullback James O'Neal added 75 yards and halfback Butter Pressey ran for 74 yards.
