YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (AP) _ With virtually no passing attack, Youngstown State depended on Adrian Brown's touchdown run in the first quarter and a couple of Mark Griffith field goals to defeat Indiana of Pennsylvania 13-7 Saturday night. Youngstown State (2-1) produced 13 passing yards, that coming on Jeff Ryan's completion to Elliott Giles. Ryan was 1-of-7 and Jared Zwick failed to complete a pass in three attempts for the Penguins. The Indians (1-1) had a different air problem. Four interceptions. Dennis Yohe and Denny Randolph each was intercepted twice. Youngstown State took advantage of outstanding field position to go 34 yards in six running plays on their first possession, with Brown going in from a yard out. Griffith hit a 40-yard field goal in the first quarter and a 28-yarder in the second quarter. Terrance Wilson scored for the Indians on a 4-yard run late in fourth quarter. Wilson gained 123 yards in 20 carries and teammate Aamir Dew ran for 109 yards in 19 carries.
