Coaching background
Arrived at Indiana as an assistant to Bob Knight in 1997-98 season.
Served as an assistant coach at Alabama for two seasons, including the 1995-96 season when the Tide reached the NIT Final Four.
From 1991-95, coached in the CBA under current Indiana assistant John Treloar. The first four years were in Wichita Falls before the team moved to Chicago.
First college coaching experience came as an assistant at Miles College in 1989-90.
Also spent two summers coaching the Venzuela National team, as well as professional teams in Venzuela.

Played his college basketball at Alabama from 1980-83. Ranks among the Tide's top 25 players in career points with 1,211.
Drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks in the second round of the 1983 NBA Draft.
Played two years in Europe, for teams in Switzerland and Italy.
Played for the Topeka Sizzlers of the CBA in 1988-89.
