As usual, the Owls are led by an outstanding backcourt and that physical matchup-zone defense. This year's guard tandem features a pair who can shoot and pass, and both make their teammates better. Quincy Wadley is a scorer, and he has the size and strength to mix it up a little inside, too. Pepe Sanchez is the top assist man in the A-10, and he's the catalyst for the Owl attack.

(A) Quincy Wadley (33) is the better scorer in the backcourt, but he doesn't limit himself to outside shots.
(B) As is customary with John Chaney-coached teams, big men Kevin Lyde (42) and Mark Karcher (25) set a pair of text-book screens for Wadley.

(C) Wadley (33) can create his own shot, but he's even more effective when Pepe Sanchez (4) gives him the set-up. Sanchez averages better than eight assists per game, and he makes all his teammates scorers.
(D) This time, Sanchez uses a different approach to set up Wadley, passing to Karcher (25) and screening away for Wadley. When Temple gets its game rolling, it spells Doom for opponents.
