Jackson State playbook: Dancing Tigers

The Jackson State Tigers made the field for only the second time ever by winning the Southwestern Athletic Conference tournament. While they do have a balanced attack -- six players average more than nine points. Center Vincent Jones is their primary weapon. Standing 7-feet tall, yet weighing only 200 pounds, Jones led the team in scoring and boards.

(A) The Tigers spread the floor to open up some spaces for Vincent Jones (50). (B) The guard cuts through as Jones swings it up top.

(C) As the ball is swung to the weakside, Jones (50) gets a little on big screen from Perry Fletcher (24). (D) When Jones can get his long body open in the paint, good things happen for the Tigers.
