Lon Kruger's young Illinois team struggled a little out of the gate, but the Illini came on strong late in the season. They won 10 of their last 12 conference games, locking up an NCAA bid.

The Illini might be short on experience, but there's no shortage of talent in Champaign. Nobody wants to run into Kruger's Crew in the tournament.

(A) Frank Williams (30) is Illinois' leading set-up man, and he sets up the offense here by reversing the floor off a high ball screen from Sergio McClain (40).
(B) Leading scorer Cory Bradford (13) gets the pass on the wing, and Bradford has the option to pop, drive, or pass.

(C) If the shot's not there, Bradford (13) sends the ball around the horn to try to get a better shot and cuts baseline off a pair of screens.
(D) The ball gets back to Bradford in the corner. Bradford makes more than three threes per game, so Kruger and company have no problem letting him cast away from downtown.
