DePaul's success comes from three things: aggressive rebounding, tough defense, and Quentin (The Q) Richardson. Richardson averages 17 points and 10 boards and will be there when needed. The question is whether the underclassmen on the team will travel well in the tournament.

(A) Everybody is watching for Richardson (3), so the Blue Demons have to work hard to shake him loose. Here dimunitive point guard Rashon Burno penetrates right and looks inside as The Q sets up, calling for the ball.
(B) Guard Paul McPherson (23) comes off two screens as the Blue Demons reverse the action.

(C) The defensive attention shifts away from Richardson to the other side of the floor. And that is just the opening Richardson (3) is looking for.
(D) The Q cuts baseline off the same two screeners and gets open outside the 3-point line for the Deep Dish.
