Mountaineers coach Buzz Peterson knows a little about tournament success -- he was Michael Jordan's roommate at North Carolina in 1982 when Jordan hit the title-winning shot as a freshman.

Peterson's Mountaineers have reached the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1979. To get in, they beat favorite College of Charleston, in the Southern Conference Championship, setting off a tourney Buzz in Boone, NC. Tyson Patterson is the team leader, and Rufus Leach is the leading scorer -- coming off the bench.
