Najera, Raymond lead Oklahoma

  RECAP | BOX SCORE

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) -- Eduardo Najera made his last home game one to remember, scoring 25 points and grabbing 10 rebounds Saturday night as No. 20 Oklahoma beat Missouri 83-56.

J.R. Raymond hit six 3-pointers and scored 20 points as the Sooners (22-5, 10-4 Big 12) moved into a tie with Kansas for fourth place in the conference standings. The top four finishers in league play get first-round byes in the postseason Big 12 tournament.

Kareem Rush scored 13 in his first start for Missouri (16-10, 9-4), which had won its previous five road games. The Tigers tied their season low with a 15-point first half and wound up shooting just 32 percent (19-of-59).

Najera scored 20 points in the second half, including a pair of 3-pointers during a run that saw Oklahoma outscore the Tigers 25-14 in the final 6½ minutes.

Oklahoma ended the suspense early, scoring the game's first 11 points -- including one of Raymond's 3-pointers. It took Missouri more than four minutes to score its first basket, and the Tigers ended the half by making just two field goals in the final 12 minutes.

Oklahoma led 35-15 at halftime and didn't allow Missouri to get closer than 16 after that.

Keyon Dooling, Missouri's leading scorer, didn't start due to an injured right ankle. He entered the game early in the first half and wound up scoring 10 points in 28 minutes.

The poor shooting night was the continuation of a trend for the Tigers, who came in hitting just 38.6 percent from the field in their previous six games.

Missouri has lost to four ranked Big 12 opponents in the past three weeks -- Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas and Iowa State.
