'83 76ers 12-1 (.923) Moses Malone, Julius Erving, Andrew Toney, Maurice Cheeks and Bobby Jones lost Game 4 of Eastern Conference finals to Milwaukee; swept L.A. Lakers in finals.
'99 Spurs 15-2 (.883) Twin Towers of David Robinson and Tim Duncan fell once to Minnesota in first round and again in Game 3 of Finals at New York. Sandwiched inbetween were sweeps of Lakers and Blazers.
'89 Pistons 15-2 (.883) Isiah Thomas, Joe Dumars, Mark Aguirre, Vinnie Johnson, Bill Lambeer and Dennis Rodman lost twice to the Bulls in a bruising Eastern Conference final, but swept the Lakers in the Finals.
'91 Bulls 15-2 (.883) The Jordan-led Bulls fell at Philly in the Eastern Conference semifinals, but then swept the Pistons. They lost Game 1 of the finals to the Lakers, but won the next four. It was Jordan's first title.
