ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Orlando Magic re-signed free agent
forwards Bo Outlaw and Monty Williams on Friday.

Terms of the deals were not disclosed.
Outlaw played all 82 games with the Magic last season, averaging six points, 6.4 rebounds, three assists and 1.8 blocks. He led Orlando in blocked shots and was second on in rebounds and steals.
Outlaw, 6-foot-8 and 210 pounds, started 55 games and shot a
team-best 60.2 percent from the floor.
The seven-year veteran has spent the last three seasons with
Orlando. He also played for the Los Angeles Clippers.
Williams participated in a career-high 75 games for the Magic
during the 1999-2000 season, averaging 8.7 points, 3.3 rebounds
and 1.4 assists in 20 minutes per contest. He started 23 games
and reached double figures in points on 34 occasions.
The 6-8 Williams originally was a 1994 first-round pick of the New York Knicks. He has appeared in 285 regular-season games for the Magic, Knicks, San Antonio Spurs and Denver Nuggets.
The signings are just the most recent in a busy week for the Magic, who acquired star forwards Grant Hill from the Detroit Pistons and
Tracy McGrady from the Toronto Raptors in sign-and-trade deals
vauled at nearly $93 million each over seven years Thursday.
Later Thursday, the Magic traded for center Andrew DeClercq and signed free agent guard Dee Brown. | |
