Webber has been cited for reckless driving, according to the
California Highway Patrol. His teammate, Jason Williams, could face
a similar charge.

The California Highway Patrol said Webber's Mercedes Benz was
stopped after Wednesday's home loss to the San Antonio Spurs.
A CHP officer claims Williams, a guard, was driving recklessly
in his BMW in the same area at the same time. Williams was not
stopped, but Officer Nick Salmeron said reckless driving charges
may still be sought.
Webber, 27, and Williams, 24, are not believed to have been
racing, Salmeron said.
Drivers can erase reckless driving from their driving records by
attending traffic school, Salmeron said.
On Jan. 2, Webber and Williams each got speeding tickets after
they were stopped at the same location in Sacramento County in
separate vehicles.
Webber has had previous legal troubles, although he was
acquitted of the most serious charges and authorities declined to
indict him after other accusations.
On Aug. 14, 1998, Webber paid a $500 fine for allegedly carrying
marijuana in a carryon bag at an airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Webber, through his agent, denied any wrongdoing and said the bag
belonged to a female companion.
On Dec. 2, 1998, a Maryland jury found Webber guilty of failure
to display a driver's license on demand, failure to display a car
registration on demand and willful disobedience of a police
officer. He was fined $560. After the same traffic stop, he was
found innocent of marijuana possession, driving under the influence
of the drug, resisting arrest and second-degree assault.
On April 6, 1998, a woman accused Webber and his then-teammate,
Juwan Howard, of sexual assault. A grand jury declined to charge
the two Washington Wizards players.
