| LOS ANGELES -- Houston's Hakeem Olajuwon left the Rockets' 101-85 loss to the Lakers on Sunday because of shortness of breath in the second quarter.

Olajuwon did not return to the lineup, although he
remained on the bench for the rest of the game. A Rockets spokesman told ESPN
the team does not think the problem is related to the atrial fibrillation,
or irregular heartbeat, Olajuwon was diagnosed with in 1996. He is
listed as doubtful for Monday's game against the Clippers.
The team has not yet decided if he will return to Houston on Monday or stay with the team. There were no plans for further tests Sunday night, but the spokesman said that could change depending on Olajuwon's condition. | |
