Named Second Team All-ACC as a senior. Voted UNC's Most Valuable Player and Most Outstanding Senior. Earned NCAA South Regional All-Tournament team honors after leading UNC to Final Four. Played 197 of a possible 200 minutes in UNC's five NCAA Tournament games. Topped own record with 284 assists and 8.1 apg (5th in nation). Led ACC with 2.47 assist-to-turnover ratio and minutes played (36.6 mpg). Ranked second on team in three-point field goal percentage (.367). Was named to Maui Invitational All-Tournament team after scoring 50 points and dishing 24 assists in three games.

Named Honorable Mention All-America by The Associated Press as a junior. Led team and the ACC in assists (7.4 apg), earning Second Team All-ACC honors. Dished out 29 assists in three games in the ACC Tournament. Ranked second on the team with 42 3-pointers, fourth in scoring (10.5 ppg), and fifth in rebounding (4.3 rpg). Recorded 20 points and 10 assists in NCAA Tournament loss to Weber State. Earned MVP honors of the Preseason NIT, averaging 14 points, 7.5 rebounds and 6.5 assists in final two games.

Earned Second Team All-ACC honors as a sophomore. Led the league in assists and was fifth in the nation (7.4 apg) Ranked second in the ACC in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.42). Became the first player in UNC history to record at least 10 assists in three straight games. Was a member of the NCAA East Regional All-Tournament team averaging 8.2 points and 7.0 assists in tournament games. Averaged 6.7 points and 5.3 assists and earned Second Team All-ACC Tournament honors.

Earned ACC Rookie of the Year honors after leading conference in assists (6.9 apg). Was first freshman to lead ACC in assists since Kenny Anderson in 1989-90. Selected to the All-ACC Tournament second team after averaging 8.7 points and 7.3 assists per game. Named to NCAA All-East Regional team after averaging 9.0 points and 8.0 assists in four tournament wins.
