Early-entry candidate for the 2000 NBA Draft. Named First Team All-American by The Associated Press as a junior. Consensus First Team All-American, only the second in school history (Jack Gray, 1935). Named to 10-member John Wooden All-America team. Ranks first on Texas' all-time blocks list (264), second in double-doubles (47), second in rebounds (945) and 13th in scoring (1,404). Is the first player at Texas to record 1,100 points, 800 rebounds and 200 blocks. Owns the school record in every blocked shot category: single game (eight), single-season (90) and career average (2.80 bpg). One of 12 collegians to compete in USA Basketball's World University Games in the summer of 1999. College highlights at Texas Averaged 17.7 ppg, 10.5 rpg (7th in nation) and 2.7 bpg (20th in nation) and was a consensus First Team All-Big 12 Conference choice.
