Fifth-year senior holds Penn State career record for field goal percentage (.583) and minutes played (1,222). Ranks eighth on school's all-time rebound list (703) and fifth in scoring (1,372 points). One of four Nittany Lions to appear on both the Penn State top ten scoring and rebounding lists. Took major steps toward a professional basketball career at postcollegiate stops in Portsmouth and Tempe. Was named to the all-tournament team at the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament after averaging a tournament-best 20 points and third-best 10.7 rpg. At Nike Desert Classic, earned all-tournament honors after averaging 14 ppg (third in tourney) and 5.7 rpg (fifth), shooting 72 percent from the field.

College highlights at Penn State

As a fifth-year senior, earned First Team All-Big Ten honors, averaging 18.8 ppg and 10.5 rpg (fifth in nation). Led Big Ten in rebounding, and placed second in scoring behind Indiana's A.J Guyton and second in field goal percentage behind Minnesota's Joel Przybilla. Only player in conference to average a double-double.

Set school mark for field goals made in a single season (260), surpassing Jesse Arnelle's mark of 244. Named to NIT Finals All-Tournament team after averaging 19.5 points and 7.0 rebounds in two games. Selected to All-Big Ten Tournament team after recording 21 points and 12 rebounds in leading Penn State to upset of top seed Ohio State in quarterfinals of Big Ten Tournament. Averaged 18.3 points 8.7 rebounds in three tournament games.

Received medical redshirt for 1998-99 season to rehab ACL injury to left knee suffered in 1998 NIT Semifinals. Played briefly in two games before redshirting remainder of the season.

As a junior in 1997-98, earned All-Big Ten Honorable Mention honors. Ranked second on the team in scoring (13.9 ppg) and rebounding (5.8 rpg) averages and fifth in total assists (45). Led team in steals (48). Led Big Ten in field goal percentage (.640). Teamed with Calvin Booth (Washington Wizards) to give Lions formidable frontline.

Started seven games as a sophomore, averaging 15.4 points and 7.0 rebounds per game in that stretch. For the season, averaged 7.3 points per contest and led team in field goal percentage (.578).

Averaged 3.3 points and 2.0 rebounds per game as a freshman in a backup role.
