VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) -- Lamar Odom and the Los
Angeles Clippers are finding ways to win.

Odom scored 21 points, including the go-ahead basket with
1:28 remaining, as the Clippers beat the Vancouver Grizzlies 76-72
on Thursday night.
Odom delivered a pivotal basket in Wednesday's win over the New
York Knicks and delivered again for the Clippers, who played their
fourth game in five nights on their way to seven games in 10 days.
Clippers coach Alvin Gentry was pleased with the way his team
started out, considering the team landed in Vancouver in the middle
of the night.
"Odom got us off to a good start," said Gentry of Odom's 10
first-quarter points. "One of the things we've talked about is
that the last couple of games we struggled and have been playing
uphill from the start. We didn't want to do that tonight."
Odom was beat after the game.
"I don't know what day it is or when we play next," he said.
Los Angeles, which trailed 72-67 with 3:06 remaining, erased its
deficit by scoring the final nine points of the game.
Michael Olowokandi scored 14 points for the Clippers and reserve Derek Strong chipped in with 13 points and eight rebounds, as Los
Angeles avenged a loss to the Grizzlies in the second game of the
season.
"We definitely talked about that," said Olowokandi. "We
thought we're a better team now than when they beat us, so we came
out with that mindset."
Michael Dickerson scored 16 points for the Grizzlies, who lost
their third straight game. Shareef Abdur-Rahim finished with 15
points.
Grizzlies coach Sidney Lowe doesn't like what he's seeing after
his team's 4-1 start.
"I hate to think of us being selfish," Lowe said. "It's
starting to play on my mind right now. It bothers me because we
weren't doing that before and we won ball games. Now all of a
sudden, we want to try to do it by ourselves. That concerns me a
little. We'll have to get back to practice again and talk about it
and work on it and see if we can straighten it out."
The Clippers matched their biggest lead of the game when guard Eric Piatkowski hit a 3-pointer and made it 58-48 late in the third quarter. But Dickerson and Mike Bibby spurred an 11-1 run and the
teams started the fourth quarter tied at 59.
Game notes
The Clippers scored less than 80 points for the fourth
straight game. ... Entering the game, Grizzlies guard Michael
Dickerson was shooting just 52 percent from the free throw line. He
ranked among league leaders at 83 percent last season. He went
3-for-4 against the Clippers. ... The Grizzlies and Clippers evened
their all-time series at 11-11. The Grizzlies had won the last
three entering Thursday's game.
