SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) -- A visit to noisy Arco Arena is no longer a casual rest stop on the NBA schedule. Chris Webber had 20 points, nine rebounds and seven assists Friday night as the Sacramento Kings won their eighth straight game, defeating the Golden State Warriors 124-95. Sacramento, which has an NBA-best 9-1 record, has won 14 consecutive regular-season games at Arco Arena over the last two years. "If you don't come in here and play well, you know you're not going to win," Warriors forward Terry Cummings said. "The fans are noisy and the Kings are a very good team with a lot of depth." For years the Kings had a boisterous crowd, but a poor team. This is a new era in Sacramento. "We want to make this a tough place to play," said Kings reserve forward Scot Pollard, who had 14 points. "The crowd makes this a hostile environment for any team coming in here." The eight-game win streak is the longest for the franchise since the Kansas City Kings won eight straight in December 1979. Utilizing their uptempo game, the Kings used a 13-0 run at the end of the third quarter and in the beginning of the fourth to take a 99-78 lead. "With a team like that, if you let them do what they want to do, they can embarrass you," Cummings said. John Starks scored 16 points for the Warriors, who have lost four consecutive games. Antawn Jamison added 15 points and 14 rebounds. Predrag Stojakovic score 14 points and Nick Anderson added 13. Jason Williams finished with eight points and 12 assists. "As long as we play like ourselves, there's going to be different nights where people's shots aren't falling, but we just have to keep passing and find the hot man," Williams said. Sacramento came out strong to start the third quarter. Williams made two free throws and followed with a jumper, giving the Kings an 81-60 lead. The Warriors answered right back, using a 14-3 run, cutting the lead to eight points. Webber made two free throws and Stojakovic connected on a 3-pointer with 12 seconds remaining, helping the Kings take a 91-78 lead into the fourth quarter. "I was very proud how we approached this game," Kings coach Rick Adelman said. "We had been talking the last two days about Golden State coming in here and it was a game we really needed before going out on the road trip back East." The Kings start a five-game road trip Monday in Miami. "The attitude of this team right now is it doesn't matter who we play," Vlade Divac said. Chris Mills scored 14 points for Golden State and Damon Jones added 11. "They are one of, if not the best offensive team in the league," Warriors coach P.J. Carlesimo said. "I thought our defensive effort was much better than it has been, but they have a lot of answers and we don't have a lot of answers down in the post." Running at every opportunity, the Kings shot 62 percent in the second quarter, outscoring the Warriors 34-25. Williams made a 3-pointer with 4.9 seconds left, putting the Kings ahead 62-43 by halftime. Game notesAnderson had the Kings' final eight points in the first quarter, including two 3-point shots. ... Golden State, which has the NBA's lowest field-goal percentage, made 9 of 26 first-quarter shots. ... After a poor first half, Starks scored nine points in the first five minutes of the second half. ...
