Alan Henderson led Atlanta (0-2) with 13 points. Chris Crawford, Bimbo Coles and Jim Jackson all had 12, and Roshown McLeod had 10. A three-point play by Danny Manning let Milwaukee take an eight-point lead into the second half. Manning also scored on a layup late in the third quarter to start a 17-4 run that carried into the final period. Cassell scored eight points during that five-minute stretch, and Milwaukee went on to build a 27-point lead.
