WASHINGTON (Ticker) -- The game between the Washington Wizards and New York Knicks at the MCI Center was postponed due to heavy snow in the Washington area.

The game will be made up Wednesday, March 8 at 7 p.m. EST.

The Wizards are slated to play in Toronto on Wednesday evening, while Knicks return to action Friday night in Atlanta.

It is the second postponement of the season for the Knicks, whose game at Charlotte on January 14 was called off due to the death of Hornets guard Bobby Phills.
