Aaron Alvey made sure defending champion Japan didn't repeat at the Little League World Series. The Louisville, Ky., ace belted a homer, struck out 11 and set two pitching records to lift his squad to a 1-0 victory Sunday over Sendai, Japan. Alvey, who homered to center in the first inning, set two LLWS pitching records. Louisville celebrates in the national spotlight after becoming the first U.S. team to win it all since Tom's River, N.J., in 1998.
