VIERA, Fla. (AP) _ Nate Rolison hit a two-out, three-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to give the Florida Marlins a 10-8 win Saturday over the Baltimore Orioles.

Rolison, who played at Double-A Portland the past two seasons, drove a 1-1 pitch off Gabe Molina over the left field fence with runners on first and second to end the game.

``Obviously, I wasn't happy to see that,'' Orioles manager Mike Hargrove said. ``But that's what spring training is all about. Overall, I'm happy with what I've been seeing from this team.''

Hargrove watched from a folding chair outside the Orioles dugout as his team came back from a one-run deficit in the eighth inning.

Baltimore greeted Marlins pitcher Hector Almonte with back-to-back home runs to lead off the eighth. Billy Ashley tied the score 7-7, and one pitch later, Calvin Pickering homered to left-center field to give Baltimore the lead.

``Both of them are young, big and strong so they're supposed to hit the ball far,'' said Hargrove, who was fired by the Cleveland Indians last season after losing to Boston in the playoffs. ``They want to make this club and they're out there battling to do it.''

The Marlins broke a 4-4 tie in the fifth on a two-run homer by Mike Lowell that just made it over the fence near the left-field foul pole. Lowell also double in a run for the Marlins in the second inning.

Mark Kotsay also doubled in a run for the Marlins.

B.J. Surhoff drove in two runs with a home run to left-center field in the first inning. Brady Anderson and Albert Belle accounted for Baltimore's other runs with an RBI double and a bases-loaded walk.

Notes: Marlins second baseman Luis Castillo came out after one inning after pulling his right hamstring while sliding into second base. Castillo is listed as day-to-day.
