Here's a rundown of what I've had to say about Florida State DE DAVID WARREN since the beginning of the college-football season.
Dec. 7
Flashes outstanding pass-rush potential off the edge, but he checks in at just under 250 pounds.
Nov. 22
Flashes impact-play ability every week. Against Florida, he registered three tackles, including one stop behind the line of scrimmage which resulted in a 6-yard loss.
Nov. 15
With so much attention directed toward Jamal Reynolds, Warren will be counted on to get after the Gators' QB tandem of senior Jesse Palmer and redshirt freshman Rex Grossman.
Nov. 8
The opposition understands that you just can't focus on Jamal Reynolds any longer. Warren has flashed big-time ability, with his effort against N.C. State a real attention-getter. Last Saturday against Clemson, Warren registered one tackle for loss, a QB sack and forced a fumble.
Nov. 1
Enjoyed a huge game against N.C. State, finishing with 6 unassisted tackles, three sacks, and two stops behind the line of scrimmage. Warren has developed into a big-time play-maker for the talent-laden FSU defense, consistently showing up where the action is.
