How do players react to seeing Tiger Woods on top of the leaderboard? "I don't think you can really think about the fact that Woods is on top. He's doing his own thing and you have to go out there and do yours. On Thursday, all you can do is shoot yourself out of a tournament; you can't win it. So
no one is thinking that Woods already has it won."
How is the course playing? One thing is certain, it played a lot harder in the afternoon. There were a lot of delays on the course in the afternoon, with a number of groups playing six-hour rounds. That's a long time to be on the course, especially since the afternoon was the hottest part of the day. The other thing that happened was the wind kicked up around 3 o'clock. That dried out the greens making the course even tougher.
Is their a lower score than 66 out there? Yes, it could happen. If it rains and softens up the greens a little bit, then someone could go lower than 66. But if there's no rain and the wind kicks up, it's going to be awful hard to go under 66.
With Woods at 66, how many players are already eliminated? Like I said before, the only thing you can do is knock yourself out of the tournament. That being said, anyone who shot 76 or above is probably out of the tournament. But anyone under that has to believe that they still have a chance.
