Josh Howard
Wake Forest

Wake Forest's Josh Howard (5) drives around Temple's Rouldra Thomas (40) during a December game. |
Josh Howard has flat-out developed into a sensational player. The Demon Deacons are well-balanced on offense and Howard is one of the pieces of the puzzle.
Howard is one of the most improved players in the ACC. As a freshman last season, he averaged over nine points a game. This season, he has been in double figures often while being a factor in all facets of the game.
The lightning-quick, 6-foot-6 forward is outstanding in transition. Howard can make shots, rebound, block shots and produce steals as an all-around player.
One thing he does quietly is affect opponents' shooting on the perimeter. He can change or block shots.
This PTPer is an underrated and unsung player on the national scene. But it won't be long before America is introduced to the talents of Mr. Howard. It will be interesting to see his skills against ACC competition.
Howard will receive his share of visibility since Wake Forest plays Maryland, Duke and Cincinnati before the end of January.
