WEST ALLIS, Wis. -- Rookie Kurt Busch became the youngest winner in NASCAR Craftsman Truck series history Saturday after a dominating performance at the Sears DieHard 200 at The Milwaukee Mile.
After becoming as the youngest pole-sitter in series history, the 21-year-old Busch was the driver to beat -- and no one could. Driving a Ford, he led the most laps, was never lower than third and took his first Truck series career checkered flag
in only his 14th start.
Randy Tolsma, who started second, could not match Busch and
settled for the runner-up showing in a Dodge. Defending
champion and series points leader Greg Biffle crossed the line
in third, followed by Steve Grissom and Andy Houston.
Biffle had won the previous three races on the Truck circuit.
