First the good news: Michael Schumacher was the fastest in practice Friday for the Australian Grand Prix. Now the bad: The two-time world champion crashed his Ferrari near the end of practice. He was uninjured, but his Ferrari suffered severe damage. Jenson Button, a 20-year-old out to prove he belongs in F1, drove his Williams to 18th on the speed chart.
