PARIS -- Mary Pierce will play for France against Russia in this month's Fed Cup semifinals.

She replaces Nathalie Dechy, who has an injured wrist, on the four-player team, the French Tennis Federation said Friday on its Web site.

Captain Guy Forget also selected Amelie Mauresmo, Emilie Loit and Stephanie Cohen-Aloro for the matches in Moscow on Nov. 19-20.

The Russian team features Anastasia Myskina, Elena Dementieva, Nadia Petrova and Vera Zvonareva, the International Tennis Federation said.
