TORONTO -- Jennifer Capriati withdrew from the Rogers AT&T Cup on Saturday because of a shoulder injury, the latest star to pull out of the tournament.

Venus and Serena Williams already dropped out with injuries as did Monica Seles, Chanda Rubin and Alexandra Stevenson.

The field features Kim Clijsters, Justine Henin-Hardenne and defending champion Amelie Mauresmo.

Qualifying started this weekend at the National Tennis Centre at York University, and the main draw begins Monday.
