MELBOURNE, Australia -- It looks like right now, this tournament is heading toward a dream matchup with Lleyton Hewitt and Andre Agassi in the final. If that matchup eventually happens it will be the most watched show in Australian sporting history.

Here's a look at the quarterfinals in the bottom half of the draw.

Wayne Ferreira, South Africa, vs. Juan Carlos Ferrero (4), Spain
Juan Carlos had such a dominating performance in the fourth round against Mario Ancic. Ferrero showed really why he is a contender even on faster surfaces like a hard court or Rebound Ace. The reason he's going to beat Ferreira, is because Ferrero is able to control the point from the first shot whether he's serving or receiving.

That's going to cause a big problem for Ferreira because he's a player who tries to control the point with his serve and forehand. And Ferreira is vulnerable off of his backhand side. Ferrero can take control of a point from a defensive position on the court and when he does that he's successful. Ferrero in four sets.
Pick: Ferrero

Sebastien Grosjean (12), France vs. Andre Agassi (2), United States
On paper, Agassi should take out Grosjean. But with that said, Grosjean has beaten Agassi in the past. The reason he's able to be successful is because he's able to generate power off of his forehand side to combat Agassi's groundstrokes. Combine that with his quickness around the court to run down what Agassi's going to be throwing at him, and Grosjean could find himself in the semifinals.

Some of this match is going to come down to what time of day they play, if this match is played in the heat of the day, I pick Agassi to win. If it's played in the evening when it's cooler, the result is a tossup.
Pick: Agassi
