You said it ...

On the second tee of Sunday's final round of the British Open, Ian Woosnam's caddie, Miles Byrne, informed him he had one too many clubs in his bag. It seems that Woosnam was carrying around an extra driver. The Royal & Ancient Golf Club penalized Woosnam the specified two stroke, which might have cost the golfer second place, $350,000, and a spot on the Ryder Cup team. Following the incident, Byrne was publicly berated by Woosnam in front of millions of television viewers.

On Monday's Dan Patrick Show, we asked you what you'd be thinking if you were Woosnam's caddie. Here are some of our favorites ...

All those that got a birdie on the first hole, take one step forward. Not so fast, Mr. Woosnam! -- David from Los Angeles, Cal.

What I'm about to tell you is gonna make you want to throw your driver against that tree. The good news is that we've got an extra! -- R.J. from Washington D.C.

Ian? Where did you put that driver you were trying out on the range? Oh! never mind. I found it. -- Greg from Dunedin, Fla.

If you were tall enough to see over the top of the bag, you could have counted the clubs yourself! -- Paul from Geneva, Ill.

Q: Why did Ian Woosnam have to get a third chauffeur?
A: Because his other two drivers were in the bag. -- Turk from Wilkes-Barre
