2002 recap
The good: Most of Tony Raines' success has come in the NASCAR Busch Series where, last season, he compiled five top-five finishes, 11 top-10 finishes and a 12th-place points finish.

Season highlight: Finishing 17th at Dover, Del., is a big deal for a guy who raced only seven Winston Cup events.

The bad: It's unfair to say that there was really anything bad -- or a season lowlight, for that matter -- for Raines, who was simply running seven races to prepare for this season.

Key stat: $336,042. That's how much he made in his short 2002 Winston Cup campaign.

2003 outlook
What needs to be done: Raines will need a ton of breaks and a lot of luck to get noticed this season.
