2002 recap
The good: Finished fourth at Nazareth in her debut with Dreyer & Reinbold, captured pole position at Kentucky and recorded eighths at Michigan and Kentucky.
Season highlight: Brought the crowd to its feet by grabbing the lead with 11 laps left in the Michigan 400 before being shuffled back to eighth at the finish.
The bad: IRL's most popular driver began the season in street clothes because she had no ride until the fourth race of the year.
