2003 recap
The good: Became the first driver/owner since Bobby Rahal (1992) to pull into victory lane by passing Paul Tracy with 15 laps left and taking the win at Portland. Finished second at Long Beach and fourth at Monterrey. Also won pole at Miami.

The bad: Led 88 laps at Miami and was out in front when Bruno Junqueira spun him out.

Key stat: Won for the first time since 2000.

2004 outlook
What needs to be done: To turn back hands of time and a teammate would also be helpful.

Key change: The second year went much smoother than the first for everyone.

Prediction: The personable 40-year-old "Muchacho" (as he calls everyone) is winding down his solid career and this could be his swan song. Still has his moments, as evidenced at Portland and Miami, but they are less and less frequent.
