User comments on March 23-25 racing
ESPN.com

You read RPM.ESPN.com's take on last weekend's action. Many of our users had some strong comments about the Tony Stewart-Jeff Gordon showdown. Here's a handful of the responses:

Regarding Stewart-Gordon at Bristol: Maybe pit road wasn't the best place, but what about the 72 points Tony lost because Gordon is too impatient and seemingly greedy? It seems Stewart paid a much bigger price even without the fines and probation. Just racin', or cheap move on the last lap?

A suggestion for Tony Stewart regarding his claim that had the roles been reversed on the last turn of the last lap at Bristol this past Sunday, Tony would have been expected to "lift" -- Lift your head out of the sand, Tony!

I don't like either one of them (Gordon or Stewart) but this time I will take Stewart's side. As always, Gordon gets by with anything ... Is Gordon the poster child for NASCAR?

Don't give up on the Roush boys just yet, there is a lot of racing left and these teams can't and won't be counted out. The problems aren't just happening to Roush, just look at Gibbs' teams. When things go right all is good but when things go wrong fingers are pointed, put your fingers down, they don't help and no one wants to see it all the time. Let those guys do their jobs the best they can, they have enough on their minds without everyone telling them they have problems, they know it better than you do. Enough of anything is enough!

First, we would like to congratulate Elliott Sadler on his victory. It was nice to see a new face in Victory Lane. Second, we just have to tell Tony Stewart to GROW UP! It's just racing. Like Jeff Gordon said, "Not surprised by his actions." Thirdly, compliments to Gordon -- he handled it like a very good sport. Keep your head high, you're the greatest. Last but not least, I didn't like your Who's Hot and Who's Not list when you mentioned that Gordon went from Hot to Not in one week. Mechanical problems can happen even to the best.
