UAB has pledged forward Frank Holmes of Somerville-Fayette Ware, Tenn., over Penn State.
Iowa State has freshman forward James Matthews of Detroit-Denby, Mich., who is transfering from Marquette at mid-season.
Sophomore starting guard/forward DeForrest Riley-Smith of Cincinnati-Winton Woods, Ohio, is transfering from Penn State.
Sophomore forward Erik Bond of Seattle-Seattle Prep, Wash., who recently announced he is transfering from California, is considering Minnesota, Gonzaga and Cal-Santa Barbara, among others.
