Miami-Florida has pledged defensive back/receiver Carlos Armour of Memphis-Melrose, Tenn., over Arkansas, Mississippi, Louisville, Mississippi State and Oklahoma State.

Syracuse has commitments from defensive back Ben Maljovec of Warren- Area, Pa., over offers from Iowa, Boston College and Vanderbilt; and receiver/defensive back Tommy Moss of Rockville-Georgetown Prep, Md., over Illinois, West Virginia, Northwestern, Duke, Marshall and Kent State.

Purdue has pledged defensive back Zach Logan of Trotwood-Madison, Ohio, who decommitted from Illinois.

Wisconsin gained a commitment from linebacker Nick Sutton of Detroit-Crockett, Mich., over Michigan State and Minnesota.

Michigan State has a commitment from defensive lineman/tight end Tom Kaczmarek of London, Ontario-Catholic Central.

Missouri pledged linebacker/running back Aaron O'Neal of Creve Coeur-Parkway North, Mo., over Minnesota. The Tigers recently gained offensive/defensive lineman Ryan Madison of Bethany-South Harrison, Mo.

Houston pledged receiver Sylvester Wright of Cedar Hill, Tex.

Washington State added defensive lineman Colin Donovan of Superior, Mont. The Cougars recently gained offensive lineman Dan Rowlands of Los Alamitos, Cal., and defensive back Bernard Hicks of Fresno-Edison, Cal.

San Diego State has pledged defensive back Terry Mixon of Compton-Dominguez, Cal.
