Top 100 guard Ramel Bradley of Brooklyn-Park West, NY/Mt. Zion Academy, Va/Bradenton-IMG Academy, Fla., is headed to Kentucky over Boston College, Georgia, Clemson and Miami-Florida. Albert Weber, a Top 100 guard from Durham-Mt. Zion Academy, NC., who reopened his recruiting after committing to Alabama, is near a decision between UConn, Arkansas and the Tide. Nebraska has a commitment from center Aleks Maric of Sydney, Australia/Burlington-Life Center Academy, NJ. BYU has added forward Tai Wesley of Provo-Provo High, Utah. The Cougars recently gained Top 100 center/forward David Burgess of Irvine-Woodbridge, Cal., over Gonzaga; center/forward Chris Miles of Provo-Timpview, Utah, over Gonzaga, Utah State and Utah; and guard Lee Cummard of Mesa, Ariz., over Arizona State and UCLA. Baylor has a commitment from Class 2006 center/forward Chris Roquemore (6-9 205) of Cleveland-Heritage Christian, Tex. He is the third sophomore verbal, including guard Nic Wise (5-9 170) of Missouri City-Hightower, Tex., to Arizona; and center Jordan Eglseder (6-10 235) of Bellevue/Bellevue-Marquette, Ia., to Northern Iowa. Class 2007 freshman guard/forward Taylor King (6-6 180) of Santa Ana-Mater Dei, Cal., pledged to the UCLA Bruins. Marshall has its fourth commitment in center Jesse Ogelsby of Lithonia-Martin Luther King, Ga. The Herd recently gained guard/forward Casey Wohlleb of Coconut Creek-North Broward Prep, Fla. Santa Clara gained a pledge from forward Mitch Henke of Minnetonka-Hopkins, Minn., over Penn. Tennessee State has a commitment from guard Andre Belton of Columbia-Keenan, SC., who averaged 22 points as a junior.
