Top 100 forward Rudy Gay of Severn-Archbishop Spalding, Md., has picked UConn over Maryland. Among others were Kentucky, Arizona, Syracuse, Villanova and St. John's. The Huskies recently gained Top 100 guard A.J. Price of Amityville, NY. Shaun Livingston, a Top 100 guard from Peoria-Central, Ill., is near a decision between Duke, Illinois and Arizona. Top 100 guard Ramel Bradley of Brooklyn-Park West, NY/Mt. Zion Academy, Va/Bradenton-IMG Academy, Fla., is near an announcement between Kentucky, Boston College, Georgia, Pittsburgh and Clemson. Miami-Florida, Seton Hall and DePaul were also involved. Marshall has its third commitment in guard/forward Casey Wohlleb of Coconut Creek-North Broward Prep, Fla. New Orleans has commitments from guard Todd Bostic of Cochise CC, Ariz., and forward Jose Nava of Hill CC, Tex. Cornell has a commitment from guard Khaliq Gant of Marion-Tabor Academy, Mass. University of San Diego pledged center Abdoulaye Ndiaye of Senegal/College of Southern Idaho. Binghamton has a commitment from forward Jordan Fithian of McPherson, Kan.
