The Tennessee Vols have pledged tight end Chris Brown of New Orleans-Jesuit, La., over Auburn, Alabama, Tulane and Indiana; and defensive back Ellix Wilson of Memphis-Melrose, Tenn., over Arkansas, Louisville, Auburn and North Carolina. Nebraska has pledged offensive lineman Mike Huff of Ralston, Neb. Iowa State, Colorado State and Kansas showed interest. The Iowa Hawkeyes have their 10th commitment in defensive back Harold Dalton of Camden-Woodrow Wilson, NJ., over Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Wisconsin, Purdue, North Carolina and Indiana, among others. Northwestern pledged tight end Ben Rinker of Barrington, Ill. The Indiana Hoosiers have gained receiver Brian Hare of Arlington Heights-St. Viator, Ill/Pima CC, Ariz., over Iowa, Pittsburgh, Marshall and East Carolina. The Hoosiers recently added linebacker Paul Szczesny of Niles-Notre Dame, Ill/Pima CC, Ariz., who had earlier decommitted from IU; and defensive lineman Kyle Thomas of Bloomington-North, Ind. Texas Christian has commitments from defensive linemen Zarnell Fitch of Oklahoma City-Spencer, Okla/Navarro CC, Tex., who signed with Tennessee in Class 2003; and Earl Anderson of San Marcos, Tex/Narvarro CC, Tex., who signed with the Horned Frogs in Class 2002. Oregon State pledged running back Morris Milton of Vacaville, Cal/Shasta CC, Cal.
