Outstanding forward Tim Pierce of Oakland-Fremont, Cal., has committed to Arizona State over Oregon and Charlotte. Among others were Miami-Florida, Illinois and DePaul.
Saint Louis pledged guard/forward Tommie Liddell of East St. Louis, Ill.
Forward/center Justin Williams of Chicago-Thornwood, Ill/Colby CC, Kan., chose Wyoming over DePaul and Auburn.
Northern Iowa has a pledge from forward Everette Pedescleaux of Robbinsdale-Armstrong, Minn., over Tulsa, among others. The Panthers recently gained a commitment from Class 2006 sophomore center Jordan Eglseder (6-10 235) of Bellevue-Marquette, Ia. He averaged 17 points and 13 rebounds as a freshman.
Illinois State has commitments from guards Justin Dentmon of Carbondale, Ill; and Nedu Onyeuku of Omaha-Creighton Prep, Neb/Iowa Western CC, Ia.
Davidson has pledged guard Jason Richards of Barrington, Ill.
Texas-Arlington has commitments from forwards David Farmer of Lewisville-Hebron, Tex; and Jermaine Griffin of Houston-Sterling, Tex.
UT-Chattanooga has pledged center Ryan Daniel of Madison-Goodpasture, Tenn.
Santa Clara pledged guard Brody Angley of Redding-Enterprise, Cal.
Montana has a commitment from forward Jordan Hasquet of Missoula-Sentinel, Mont.
New Hampshire has a commitment from forward/center Ryan Gargaro of Maplewood/Hill-Murray, Minn.
Seventy prospects on the early Class 2004 Top 100 have already made commitments.
