Clemson and new coach Oliver Purnell have pledged Class 2004 forward/guard Sam Perry of Piedmont-Woodmont, SC., over Tulane, Duquesne and Charleston. The Tigers recently gained forward Cheyenne Moore of South Kent Prep, Conn., who had decomitted from Georgetown.
Carlton Reed, a Class 2004 guard from Waterloo-East, Ia., picked the Iowa Hawkeyes over Kansas State, Illinois State and Creighton.
Forward/center Jeremy Parnell of Gosnell, Ark., who decommitted from Mississippi, has picked Oklahoma State.
Class 2004 forward/guard Brian Laing of Bronx-St. Raymond's, NY., has chosen Seton Hall over Richmond.
Top 100 forward Roy Bright, a Class 2004 prospect from Durham-Mt. Zion Academy, NC., is expected to announce on Thursday (Sept. 25) between Iowa State and Tennessee.
St. Louis has pledged Class 2004 guard Luke Meyer of Washington-Borgia, Mo., over Nebraska and Indiana State.
Ohio pledged Class 2004 guard Jeremy Fears of Joliet-Joiet Township, Ill., who averaged 20 points as a junior.
