The Michigan Wolverines have a commitment from Class 2004 defensive back Jamar Adams of Matthews-Butler, NC., over offers from Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia and Wake Forest. Among others showing interest were Florida State and Miami-Florida. LSU has its 9th commitment in Class 2004 defensive back Jeffrey Jack of Houston-Madison, Tex., over Texas A&M, Arkansas and Tennessee. The Florida State Seminoles pledged Class 2004 defensive lineman Darrell Robertson of Jonesboro, Ga., over Georgia Tech, Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky and Stanford. Class 2004 offensive lineman Bobby Dockter of Mukilteo-Kamiak, Wash., has chosen Stanford. BYU has a commitment from Class 2004 defensive back/receiver Drew Mugleston of Mesa-Mountain View, Ariz. The Cougars recently gained offensive lineman Terence Brown of Summerville, SC., over offers from Clemson, South Carolina and Vanderbilt. Brown, who will first go on mission, also drew interest from Nebraska. Cincinnati has a commitment from Class 2004 quarterback Earnest Jackson of Detroit-Country Day, Mich., over Northwestern. Among others were Colorado, Indiana, Miami-Ohio and Toledo. Northern Illinois pledged Class 2004 running back Montell Clanton of Rockford-Guilford, Ill., over Ball State.
