Penn State has pledged Class 2004 Top
150 linebacker/defensive lineman Tyrell Sales of Butler, Pa., over
Pittsburgh. Among many others were Ohio State, Virginia, Florida State,
Virginia Tech and Notre Dame.
The Nittany Lions, now with 18 commitments, recently pledged offensive
lineman Gerald Cadogan of Portsmouth, Ohio, over
Boston College, Michigan, Northwestern, Wake Forest, South Carolina and
Stanford, among others; and Top 150 linebacker Dan Connor of Wallingford-Strath Haven, Pa.,
over 40 other offers topped by Notre Dame and Michigan.
Oklahoma has pledged Class 2004 Top
150 linebacker Chris Patterson of Chicago-Hubbard, Ill.,
over offers from Miami-Florida, Southern California, Kansas State, Illinois
and Virginia, among others. The Sooners recently gained defensive lineman Alan Davis of Colleyville-Heritage, Tex.,
over Nebraska and LSU, among others.

Kansas has commitments from two Class
2004 prospects in offensive lineman Todd Haselhorst of Olathe-East, Kan., over
offers from Kansas State, Arizona, Michigan State, Minnesota and Tulsa; and
tight end Jim Reuber of Plano-West, Tex., over
Kansas State and Arizona. Class 2003 offensive lineman Matt Thompson of Missoula, Mont., has

quarterback Max Hall of Mesa-Mountain View, Ariz.,
over Washington State, BYU, Utah and Northwestern. His grandfather is former
