Class 2004 forward Shawne Williams, a Top 100 prospect from Memphis-Hamilton, Tenn., has committed to Memphis over interest from Houston, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, St. John's Tennessee and Virginia. Tie Tigers recently gained Top 100 guard Darius Washington of Orlando-Edgewater, Fla., and forward Robert Dozier of Lithonia, Ga.

Kansas has a pledge from Class 2004 forward Darnell Jackson of Oklahoma City-Northwest Classen/Midwest City, Okla., over interest in Oklahoma, Illinois, Arizona, New Mexico and Purdue.

Forward Perrin Johnson, a Class 2003 prospect from Claremont, Cal., will walk-on at Louisville. He had signed with Rider, but was granted a release.

Providence has pledged Class 2004 center/forward Anthony Ivory of Fort Washington-National Christian Academy, Md., over interest from Seton Hall, Clemson, Charleston and East Carolina.

Forty-four prospects on the early Class 2004 Top 100 have already made commitments.
