Penn State has its seventh Class 2004 commitment in Top 150 defensive lineman A.Q. Shipley of Corapolis-Moon Area, Pa., over Michigan and Virginia, among nearly 40 other offers.
Texas has its 16th Class 2004 commitment in receiver/defensive back Myron Hardy of Round Rock-McNeil, Tex., over Oklahoma and LSU, among others.
The Michigan Wolverines have pledged two Class 2004 commitments in defensive/offensive lineman Will Johnson and linebacker/running back Roger Allison, both from Lake Orion, Mich. The Wolverines recently gained defensive lineman/tight end Chris Rogers, a Top 150 prospect from Wexford-North Allegheny, Pa.
Iowa State pledged Class 2004 offensive lineman Kody Kuehl of Hartley-HMS, Ia. The Cyclones recently gained defensive back/receiver Adam Carper of Clarinda, Ia; offensive lineman Landon Streit of Manson-Northwest Webster, Ia; and linebacker Nick Frere of Muscatine, Ia.
Kentucky has pledged Class 2004 linebacker Gabe Wallace of Fort Campbell, Kty. The Wildcats recently gained offensive lineman Aaron Miller of Grayson-East Carter, Kty., and receiver Richard Lyons of New Orleans-Holy Cross, La. Kentucky added Class 2003 running back Joey Razzano of Milford, Ohio, who was granted a release by Virginia Tech.
Tulane pledged Class 2004 quarterback Scott Elliott of Bay City, Tex.
